In the past, most studies explored the growth and evolution of ecosystem on the economic perspective, and lacked relevant discussions on product development and innovation. However, in the process of the growth and evolution of the ICT(Information Communication Technology) business ecosystem, technological platform company must consider how to deal with the complexity of product innovation and increase more new entrants into the ICT business ecosystem. Past researches suggest that the technological platform make the product architecture with a standard interface to form a loosely coupled interfirm relationship, which enable companies to solve problems independently and contribute to the growth and evolution of the ICT business ecosystem. This study use NetLogo, a simulation program of the agent-based model (ABM) to simulate the growth and evolution of the ICT business ecosystem. Based on the results of the simulation analysis, we propose that from the point of view of problem solving, technological platform company can keep a close relationship with specific complementor of technological platform and release solutions to other complementors of technological platform, thereby promoting ICT business ecosystem with faster growth and evolution.
