家庭自動化系統推行自今已有一段不算短的時間了,但是其功能設計都是針對一般正常的使用者為考量,但就實際面來說身心障礙者才是最需求家庭自動化系統的一群,也是最容易被忽略的一群,也就因為如此本系統才特別針對身心障礙者所設計。
在系統中是使用電力線為構成家庭自動化的主要傳輸媒介,是將現有的X-10規格上的缺點加以改良並且模組化,利用改良過的X-10模組,再透過電力線載波網路聯繫與控制所有電力線上的家電產品,本系統主機更安裝有可學習型的紅外線遙控功能,可學習原有的紅外線遙控器並直接控制紅外線家電產品,譬如電視、冷氣機等。
為了讓人能更方便地使用本系統,系統在使用者輸入介面部份還包含了系統主機上的按鍵以及電話遙控。本系統藉著電源載波的方式傳遞由系統主機傳出的控制命令,當接收端的家電模組收到控制命令時,才依照命令執行動作,達到家庭自動化的目的。
The system of home automation has been around for quite a period of time. However, the main function of the design has been focused on the use of normal people, while those who are handicapped, both mentally and physically, have been in great need for the system. Practically speaking, it is the disabled people that need the assistance of the system of home automation more than anyone else, and it is also true that their need for the system has been most overlooked. Therefore, the main concept of our system is designed to meet the need of the disabled at home.
In this system of home automation, the main transmission medium is constructed with power line. In the meantime, the standard of current X-10 is improved and put together as a module. This system makes use of radio frequency to control and interact with the household appliances over the power line network. In addition, there is an infrared module with learning functions to include the available signals from those infrared remote controllers coming with all those home appliances and can directly have a whole control of those infrared devices such as televisions and air conditioners.
To be more user friendly and handled in a more conveniently way, the interface of the users of the system also includes keyboards on the equipment and phone remote control. The modules of different home appliances can only respond and work when they get those commands from their receivers; in this way, the purpose of home automation is implemented.
