In recent years, the impact of change in natural environments has become more severe. Therefore, environmental consciousness is on the rise. Many scholars have addressedenvironmental issues and the risks posed have begun to be studied. There is growingimportance for environmental protection requested from customers, government,non-governmental organizations, and stakeholders. The managers should not ignore the environmental problems that may arise. In order to protect the environments and ecology, the purpose of supply chain management is not only pursuing for profit performance but
also meeting the social and environmental performance to achieve business sustainability. Therefore, the green supply chain management has become an important issue. The
operation of green supply chain can help improve their profits, increase market share, and reduce the environmental impacts on the business. However, there are no clear quantitative indicators to decide the level of greenness of business yet. In this study, the triple bottom
line (social development, economic development and environmental protection) is constructed as our main framework, and Fuzzy Analytic Network Process (FANP) is used
to assess the level of business’s greenness. In addition, in the context of supply chain management, a case study of a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) manufacture is conducted. A
green assessment model is constructed, and used in selecting suppliers to help implement green supply chain management and achieve sustainable development.
