The advancement of science and technology has led to a sharp decrease in available resources. Thus, determining how to recycle and reuse products in the production process has become a direction that companies are exploring. The closed-loop supply chain faces the problem of products returning from customers to the supply chain system, where enterprise costs and duplication of resources can be effectively reduced through digitization. However, dealing with the data privacy issues between enterprises brought about by digitization and ensuring access to reliable data is an important potential research topic.
In this study, a closed-loop supply chain demonstration in the automotive industry using Hyperledger Fabric, an open-source blockchain technology led by IBM, is used to build a data exchange system. Smart contracts that meet the needs of the closed-loop supply chain in the automotive industry are developed that can secure. Private information passing between enterprises and specify reliable data at the same time, in turn leading to agreements or unilateral decisions and may involve modifying the function of smart contract parameters.
