Due to the busy life and pressure in modern society, people suffer from the diseases resulted from all kinds of negative emotion. For example, anxiety results in fatigue, sleepiness, anxiety, and tension between interpersonal relationships. Anxious feelings even generate perceptual distortions and illusion .Therefore, it will be very helpful to establish a set of physiological parameter monitor to analyze emotional responses. In terms of emotional recognition system, it is very vital for stimulation to evoke the respondent’s real emotion.
This research manipulates three different emotional stimulations, IAPS photo gallery, music, and videos, to stimulate the respondent’s emotion, record ECG signals, and analyze HRV results, SAM scale and the results of KNN classifier emotional categories via discussion. The research tries to find out what kind of stimulations can lead to the respondent’s real emotion. The recognition rate of emotion can be increased by enhancing the authenticity of physiological signals.
The results of this research show that if stimulation can let the respondent’s has consonance, and feel the interior and exterior stimulations at the same time, it can increase the respondent’s emotional performance while they are stimulated.
