  •   隨著醫療資訊化成長快速,以及醫療資源共享觀念的推廣,對於醫療影像會診系統之需求已日漸增強,一套實用的醫療影像會診系統,不但可以落實醫療資源之共享,也可應用於醫療教育,進而提高醫療之品質,因此在過去幾年當中我們發展了一套醫療影像會診系統,稱為DISCOVER(Distributed and Interactive Scientific COmputing Visualization EnviRonment),此系統是以資源共享為其主要概念,提供各種資源共享之機制與平台,進而達到位於不同地點的多位使用者能同時參與會診之最終目的。

      在本論文中,以此醫療影像會診系統架構為基礎而發展了一套網際網路醫療影像會診系統,稱為WebDiscover。WebDiscover是一套多部電腦同時運作以提供了多人同時操作的Web-Based系統,能將登入的使用者分配到負載比較輕的電腦去執行,以達到負載平衡,並整合了NetMeeting,讓同時上線的使用者能做視訊會議。我們也提供了一個機制,讓外部系統也能來操作WebDiscover。

      As the fast growth of the computerized medical applications and the generalization of concepts of sharing medical resources, the desire for a medical image consultation system is getting stronger and stronger. A practical medical image consultation system can not only realize the share of medical resources, but also can be applied to medical education. In the past several years, we have developed a medical image consultation system - DISCOVER (Distributed and Interactive Scientific Computing Visualization EnviRonment), which is a resource sharing system for the purpose of a consultation meeting joined by multiple users at the different places simultaneously.

      In this thesis, we follow the DISCOVER architecture to develop an Internet medical image consultation system called WebDiscover which is a Web-Based system and provide a mechanism for the cooperation with multi-computer and multi-user. It also provides a load-balance mechanism to dispatch login user to a low-loading computer to use the WebDiscover as well as integrates the NetMeeting for those on-line users attending the Video Conference. It also has an interface for the other system using the WebDiscover as if its own system.
