本研究之研究目的為：（一）瞭解大學生服務學習參與類型與利社會行為之關聯性；（二）瞭解大學生服務學習參與時間與利社會行為之關聯性；（三）瞭解服務學習核心要素與大學生利社會行為之關聯性；（四）瞭解服務學習參與類型、參與時間、核心要素與大學生自尊之關聯性；（五）檢驗自尊在大學生服務學習參與類型、參與時間、核心要素與利社會行為之中介效應，本研究採問卷調查法，以臺灣大學生為研究對象，採分層隨機抽樣方式，抽取三十三所學校，共1153位大學生，再將所得資料以描述性統計、皮爾森積差相關與路徑分析等統計方法進行資料處理與分析。
本研究結果顯示：（一）服務學習參與類型對助人、合作行為不是重要的影響因素；（二）參與時間對助人及合作行為具有間接影響；（三）反思與慶賀程度越高，助人、合作行為越高；（四）參與時間越長、反思程度越高，大學生的自尊越高；（五）自尊在服務學習核心要素與利社會行為間具有重要的中介影響效果。最後，據此一實證結果進行討論並提出建議，以供服務學習的實施及未來研究參考。

The purposes of this study were to: (a) find out the relationships between the college students’participation in different types of service-learning and prosocial behavior; (b) realize the relationships between the duration of participation in service-learning and prosocial behavior of college students; (c) understand the relationships between the core elements of service-learning and prosocialbehavior of college students;(d) realize the relationships between the college students’ participation in different types of service-learning, the duration of participation in service-learning, the core elements of service-learning and self-esteem; (e) examine the self-esteem’s mediating effect between the college students’ participation in different types of service-learning, the duration of participated in service-learning, the core elements of service-learning and prosocial behavior.
In this study, the sample consisted of 1153 college students from thirty-three universities in Taiwan. Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and path analysis.
The major findings were summarized as follows: (a) the college students’participation in different types of service-learning was not an important factor for prosocial behavior; (b) the duration of participated in service-learning has indirect effect on prosocial behavior; (c) the more reflection and celebration the participants gained, the more the prosocial behavior was acquired; (d) The longer the duration of participation in service-learning was the larger extent of reflection and self-esteem the college students displayed; (e) the self-esteem had mediating effect on the relationships between the core elements of service-learning and prosocial behavior of college students.
Finally, based on these results, this study provides some suggestions that could help the implementation of service-learning and be a reference to future researchers.
