In the past, the study of organizational resilience has focused on the state and ability to anticipate, respond, adapt, or recover before or during a crisis in order to meet the conditions of resilience, including discussions on operations management, supply chain management, and information management. This research paper will focus on supply chain resilience and explore the concept of single supply chain strategy in forming supply chain resilience from the perspective of supply chain management and compare the definition of previous literature with the results of practical experience by using qualitative approach and case study to derive new theoretical implications and theoretical models. Interviews were conducted with five senior staff members of Company A, a B2B type company with a single source procurement and supply chain, and in order to find out the reliability and validity of the data, we also interviewed and cross-referenced the data with its upstream supplier, Company B, to find out whether there are any correlations and contradictions between them. Finally, the results of this study show that companies can maintain the ability and effectiveness of supply chain resilience even in a single supply chain by having problem-solving capabilities and social assets, which leads to the conclusion that supply chain resilience is meaningful for companies' procurement strategies. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide a reference for subsequent academic research and corporate applications in the practical community.
