In the modern time, people are usually easy to accumulate mental stress because their busy work. As a result, they bring about melancholia or insomnia, even create some problems of health. According to previous studies, different lighting environment and lighting characteristic will affect psychological and physiological responses of human.
For future environmental demand and matching to trends of the times, the energy saving, earth sustainability, the quality of life, health and comfortable environments have already become the most important issues now.
In this study, we use different LED sources as the experimental lighting environment. The experimented subjects are healthy people which are selected by Life Health Questionnaire (SF-36). Under different LED lighting environments, we use the different kind of pictures to alter the emotions of the subjects and record their ECG signals. By using HRV analysis based on ECG, we can analyze the balance of autonomic nervous activity and discuss their emotional responses under different LED lighting environments.
