Earth has a geomagnetic field to shield the charge particles of solar winds brought, therefore the creature in earth can grow and evolve. However, with the development of technology electromagnetic fields effect on living organisms increasing with time. Life in earth is not only expose to natural magnetic, but also expose to complex electromagnetic fields and natural magnetic. In artificial electromagnetic fields, especially the extremely low frequency is intensive connecting with human normal living. The effect of extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields on cells attract more extensive attention. In the past studies, electromagnetic fields have both positive and negative effect on cells. But most of researches are concern about normal cells. Moreover, most related arguments are point out that electromagnetic fields effect on calcium concentration then changing cells proliferation. In this study, we used grid coils and electric circuit to generate different frequency electromagnetic fields effect on mice melanoma cancer cells, B16F10 and tested tumor cells viability by MTT assay. Discussing calcium ion effected by different frequency electromagnetic fields cause different results. The experiment results demonstrate that applying nearly calcium ion cyclotron resonance frequency, which is the most efficient energy transfer frequency of 7.83 Hz, shows the lowest rate of cell activity.
