本論文以菱形搜尋為基礎,加上一位元動態估計演算法,組合成改良式一位元動態估計演算法。此快速演算法可以大幅減少動態估計時,所耗費的龐大計算量。並將此演算法實現在菲利浦公司出品的晶片TriMedia上,並對此演算法,以TriMedia提供的指令集來做最佳化處理。如此ㄧ來便可達到接近即時處理的效果。最後實驗結果顯示,ㄧ位元動態估計演算法在相同的Bit-rate下,PSNR和八位元動態估計演算法相當接近,這是適合應用在監控系統的演算法。
This paper is based on the diamond search and the one bit motion estimation algorithm. Combine this two algorithm, we get improved fast algorithm, which could decrease the count of motion estimation obviously. We implement this new fast algorithm on the TriMedia chip, which is design by the Philip electric company, and optimize the program by TriMedia operation code, the real-time processing is reachable. Experiment show that the PSNR performance of one bit ME is close to eight bit ME at the same bit-rate, So that the one bit ME algorithm is adapt to surveillance system application.
