測試在軟體開發過程一直扮演很重要的角色,隨著近二十年來網頁應用程式技術的演進,傳統的人工測試的局限性也越來越明顯,因此網頁自動化測試的需求日益提高。而在網頁自動化測試工具中,如何準確地在適當時間點回播所錄製出的每一個指令是相關工具很熱門的研究議題,SideeX對於等待時間這個問題是透過Auto-Wait的技術來計算指令所觸發的事件需等待時間,此外,對變數的支援性也是一個強大測試工具的基礎,適當的變數引用可以提高測試案例的維護性,透過變數也可以很輕鬆的實現資料驅動測試。本研究針對SideeX現行Auto-Wait技術所遇到的問題提出改善方法並針對測試需求提出等待類指令,同時針對SideeX變數的局限提出新的機制。
Testing has always played an important role in the software development process. With the evolution of web application technology in the past two decades, the limitations of traditional manual testing have become more and more obvious. Therefore, there is an increasing demand for web automation testing. In the web automation testing tools, how to accurately play back each recorded command at the right time is a very popular research topic for related tools. SideeX's approach to calculate waiting time for the events triggered by commands is through the Auto-Wait technique. In addition, the support of variables is the basis of a powerful testing tool, and the proper use of variables can improve the maintenance of test cases, even Data-Driven Testing can be easily implemented through variables. This study intends to propose improvement methods for the problems encountered in the current version of SideeX's Auto-Wait, offer wait-for commands for testing requirements, and provide new mechanisms for the limitations of SideeX's variables.
