  • 本研究旨在探討節點再造對區域活化的影響,並回應當前環境規劃領域中關於舊 有都市節點再造的議題。研究聚焦於交通節點,特別是過去富有公共性與文化意涵的 車站空間。隨著都市規模與功能的擴展,傳統車站逐漸無法滿足現代都市發展的需求, 導致都市中心的轉移與舊城區的衰退。基於此背景,各國開始關注車站的規劃,將其 從單一交通樞紐轉型為具有多功能的都市重要節點。近年來,臺灣也逐漸重視車站轉 型議題,並在各縣市提出鐵路再造計畫,藉此縫合都市紋理,改善市容景觀,提升都 市環境生活品質。
    以近年完成再造的臺中火車站為研究場域,回收有效問卷 409 份,並採用結構方 程模式(SEM)進行行為結構分析。研究結果顯示,環境設計、節點再定義、情感評 價、地方認同與社會活力之間呈現顯著正相關,歸納出都市交通節點環境設計的關鍵 因子,並為未來都市節點再造提供理論依據。具體而言,環境設計對社會活力具有完 全中介效應,必須經由節點再定義、情感評價與地方認同等中介構面,方能促進社會 活力。環境設計藉由空間美學、設施完善性與自然元素整合,顯著提升情感評價與地 方認同,而節點再定義則促使車站由單一交通場域轉型為兼具文化、生活與社交功能 的複合節點,進一步強化民眾對該場域的認同。
    此外,地方認同在節點再造過程中扮演關鍵橋樑,連結個體情感與空間認同,是 評估區域活化成效的重要指標。研究亦歸納出建築設計、生活場所、愉悅、場所互動 及社會凝聚力為區域活化的關鍵因子。研究結果亦呼應「鐵路高架化後大車站計畫」 目標,證實臺中車站作為舊城區再生樞紐,不僅提升交通效率與土地利用,更促進沿 線空間與公共活動的活化,帶動舊城區活力的回流。綜合而言,建議未來於交通節點 環境設計與都市空間規劃時,應將地方認同納為核心發展目標,並納入都市治理與再 生政策評估架構,作為促進區域活化與提升公共空間品質的重要依據。

    This study investigates the impact of node reformation on regional revitalization, focusing on transportation nodes—especially train stations—that have historically shaped urban life. As cities expand, traditional stations often struggle to meet contemporary needs, contributing to the decline of city centers. In response, cities including those in Taiwan are transforming stations into multifunctional urban nodes through railway regeneration, aiming to reconnect fragmented urban fabric and enhance livability.
    Using Taichung Railway Station as a case, this research collected 409 valid survey responses and applied SEM to analyze relationships among environmental design, node redefinition, emotional evaluation, place identity, and social vitality. Results reveal significant positive correlations among these constructs. The effect of environmental design on social vitality is fully mediated by node redefinition, emotional evaluation, and place identity. Through spatial aesthetics, facility quality, and natural elements, environmental design boosts emotional responses and place identity. Node redefinition enables stations to become multifunctional spaces supporting cultural, social, and daily life, strengthening users’ identification with the site.
    Place identity emerges as a key bridge linking emotional experience to spatial recognition and serves as a vital indicator of regional revitalization. Key factors include architectural design, place of living, pleasure, spatial interaction, and social cohesion. The findings affirm Taichung Station’s role as a core anchor in revitalizing the old city and suggest embedding place identity in future urban governance and planning.
