Abstract
The microwave properties of ZnO-B2O3-SiO2 dielectric ceramic materials are discussed in this paper. By adding different percentage CaTiO3, we study the effects of microwave properties.
The material researches are divided into two parts in this thesis. Firstly, we discuss the microwave properties of ZnO-B2O3-SiO2. Then, we discuss the microwave properties of ZnO-B2O3-SiO2 by adding CaTiO3. The experimental results show that ZnO-B2O3-SiO2 with 15wt% CaTiO3 addition can be sintered to 900 oC/0.5hr, and we obtain the properties: εr~7.3;Q×f~4000 GHz; ~3.4 ppm/℃
In addition, we design and fabricate compact SIR band-pass filters with 2.44GHz central frequency and 5% bandwidth utilizing FR4, Al2O3 and ZnO-B2O3-SiO2 substrates.
