  • 波浪受到氣象、地形等因素的影響,為一複雜的紛紜現象,研究波浪的方法除了從事水工試驗與數值模式分析之外,現場觀測是瞭解波浪特性的重要方法,本文將GPS掛載於資料浮標上,量測資料浮標動態得到波浪資訊,以GPS量測資料浮標之垂直速度,將此垂直速度經由傅立葉轉換後,在頻譜上保留波浪的能量進行波高與週期的推算
    於實驗室內模擬波浪動態特性,探討GPS量測之垂直速度與模擬結果的相關性,證明GPS動態量測之可行性。再將GPS掛載在中央氣象局佈放於小琉球西南方海域之資料浮標上,以GPS輸出之垂直速度推算波高與週期,從分析結果顯示,浮標與GPS推算之波高與週期相關性皆達0.97以上,差異皆低於5%。証明我們能藉由GPS量測浮標的運動,得到精確、可以信賴的波浪資訊。

    Ocean wave, among the natural phenomena, is one of the most complex factors prevalent in coastal and ocean engineering. Its features are extremely random, affected by meteorological factors, topological conditions and currents, which cannot be fully understand by numerical or physical models alone. Field measurement must be performed to increase the knowledge of waves.
    In this paper, we apply the spectrum analysis to separate the velocity of satellite and receiver from GPS signal. Measurements were conducted using a data buoy fitted with the new GPS sensors and the traditional accelerometers. The new GPS system performed excellently, as 3D movement of the buoy depend on the movement of seawater particles, we use the velocity of GPS receiver to estimate the position of the buoy. As the result, we can find the precise and reliable wave information according to the 3D velocity of the buoys.
