無線射頻辨識(RFID)是一種非接觸式的自動辨識技術,與傳統條碼技術相比,具有通訊訊息大、讀取距離遠、可同時讀取多張標籤等特點。然而讀取器與電子標籤隨著距離拉長,可辨識的準確度就會隨之降低。本研究發展一個應用於低頻無線射頻辨識系統具有堆積樹可調式電壓控制功能之設計。此設計可以動態調整工作電壓,提高標籤的工作距離以改進可靠度。所設計的控制方式實際在一現場可規劃邏輯閘陣列(Field Programmable Gate Array,FPGA)上實現。實驗結果證明採用適應性電源管理的理念可以在距離拉遠時提高辨識率。
Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a contactless technique for automatic identification system. Comparing with traditional barcode system, RDID has the advantages of larger communication message, further reading distance, and recognize multiple targets simultaneously. However, the accuracy of identification will decrease as the distance between RFID reader and electronic tag increases. In this thesis, we developed a stackable dynamical voltage-controllable scheme for RFID applications. The main idea of this technique is to adjust the working voltage dynamically, thus increasing the reading distance between reader and tags to improve the accuracy of identification. The controller is designed and implemented on a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). The results show that the concept of adaptive power management can increase the accuracy is applicable in practical uses when the reading distance is increased.
