  • This research focuses on abusive supervision affects turnover intention with job
security as a mediator. Additionally, this study investigated moderating role of
prevention focus and promotion focus. The conceptual framework includes two
theories: social cognitive theory and regulatory focus theory. 270 subordinates from 55 groups in various organizations in Thailand were distributed online questionnaires. Multi-level Mediation Analysis (MLmed) was used to test the hypothesis. The findings clarify that (I)”abusive supervision has a significantly negative relation with job security”(II)”job security is significantly negative associated with turnover intention”(III)”job security performs mediating in the relation among abusive supervision and turnover intention”(IV) Additionally,”prevention focus performs moderating effect in the association among abusive supervision and job security”(V)”promotion focus performs moderating effect in the association between job security and turnover intention (VI) mediator of job security in the association between abusive supervision and turnover intention moderating by prevention focus and promotion focus. Limitations and future research suggestions will be explained in the last part of research.
