Traditional telemedicine consultation systems focus on the convenience of the consultation system and the integration of the overall medical treatment system, but some operations which need high-complexity computing cannot be executed smoothly when the consultation systems are in proceeding. Based on Grid technologies, a telemedicine consultation system with the function of Grid computing is proposed in this thesis. Through the experiments and verifications, we can understand it is possible that some operations which need high-complexity computing could be performed in the consultation system. In consideration of the various computing capability in Grid environment, the Node Scores are used to identify the current computing capabilities of grid nodes. We also analysis the categories of jobs and split and dispatching them in appropriate way in order to minimize the turnaround time and the load balance of grid nodes. Proposed telemedicine consultation system provides basic functions such as image manipulation, the medical image, user account management, security, and video conference.
