Six Sigma has been adopted for 20 years in Motorola since 1987, from making manufacture improvement extend to business process, it not only changes staff's ability and attitude effectively but also bring breakthrough operation to enterprises and enterprise's competitiveness. In fact, Six Sigma management system is the enormous challenge to enterprises because it involves strategy, organization, group and individual, any link will influence the effectiveness of Six Sigma performance. However, most researches emphasize on the procedure performance and tools introduction of Six Sigma, less in management issues. Therefore, the purposes of this study are to establish Six Sigma Gaps model to find out the executive problems and how they manage to deal with those issues.
This research probes into the way that Six Sigma carry out necessary attention aspect with documents first, and set up Six Sigma gaps to common arguments. These ten major gaps involve in the moving of executive, the team work of Six Sigma, and the executive problems. We choose the company that has carried out more than five years of Six Sigma Management as the research object, carry on in-depth interview to the staff of different strata to confirm every gap and offer the solution. The research offers management what they should take care to increase the successful probability that Six Sigma channel into.
The results indicate that black to lead the master and green cognitive disparity while taking not to be obvious, other gaps really take place in the course of pursuing of Six Sigma. The staff in every stratum plays the key influence factor that Six Sigma channel into. The foundation of environment is good or not will react on customer response. Through the evaluation of these gaps, offer enterprise while channeling into Six Sigma in the face of the management topic.
