鋯鈦酸鉛(PZT)陶瓷由於其良好的壓電性質,因此被廣泛的應用在各種元件,如感測器、致動器、換能器、濾波器等。本文嘗試以PZT(52/48)摻雜鈮,形成軟性PZT。並研究摻雜對樣品特性所產生的效應,燒結溫度與極化狀況對樣品性質之效應也在研究之中。摻雜樣本之微結構及成分則以XRD 及SEM進行分析,介電常數在1kHz 時測得約為1500、而損失因數則約略小於2%、最大徑向機電耦合常數約0.6,證明了摻雜Nb 改善了介電及壓電特性。
另外我們在這系列中又添加BiFeO3 (BF) 和Ba(Cu0.5W0.5)O3 (BCW)以降低燒結溫度,研究摻雜效應對樣本特性的影響。最後以此PZT 為主要成分之陶瓷製作表面聲波濾波器並測其性質,包括波速、機電耦合常數。
Lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramics have been used in various applications due to their excellent piezoelectric characteristics, such as sensors, actuators, filters and transducers. In this thesis, we try to add Nb dopants in the PZT (52/48) ceramic systems to form soft PZT samples
and investigate the doping effects on the characteristics of the samples. The effects of the sintering temperature and the poling condition on the properties of the samples are also investigated. Microstructural and compositional analyses of these doped samples have been carried out using XRD and SEM. The dielectric constant measured at 1kHz is about 1500 and the loss factor is small than 2%. The maximum planar electromechanical coupling coefficient, kp,
is 0.6. It showed that the Nb additives were helpful improve both of the dielectric and piezoelectric properties.
In addition, we add BiFeO3 (BF) and Ba(Cu0.5W0.5)O3 (BCW) in the system to lower the sintering temperature. We also investigate the doping effects of BF and BCW on the
characteristics of the samples. Finally, a surface acoustic wave device was fabricate using the PZT-based ceramic and the properties, including phase velocity and ctromechanical coupling coefficient, were measured.
