  • 摘要:
    對於「紀念性」意義的探討,無論在有形與無形文化資產的保存維護範疇中,是一個屬於最根本的問題,具有「紀念性」意義的集體性文化資產,能夠將之視為實體的證據,來為某個時期、文化、民族,甚至某個社群所擁有的歷史進行闡述。本研究所要探討的是標注性紀念物能作為一種集體性文化資產的紀念性意義,在其具有爭議性與尚未有定論狀態之對象作為研究的重點。經歷不同世代之社會與政治變化,許多紀念物逐漸開始以不同的面貌,以及具有動態性變化的現象在集體公眾的面前呈現。本研究的對象為「創傷紀念物」、「戰爭紀念物」與「政權紀念物」三類型標注性事件之紀念物,從紀念的目的、紀念的對象、紀念物設置過程、紀念的場所與紀念的形式中分別體現出標注性事件紀念物所呈現的紀念性意涵與價值。
    本論文的研究方法為,將19世紀末至20世紀之間所面臨的紀念性意義轉變歷程展開文獻的歸納與整理,從中分析出轉變的時代背景與原因。當紀念性意涵能夠在該段逐漸轉變的過程裡存有不同被關注的價值與目的時,則進一步將紀念物於其中隨著紀念性意義的轉變所形成對於其作用、意圖、形式、功能與需要等延伸的探討,將三種類型之標注性紀念物之個案分析研究,將與紀念相關的記憶、歷史探討等,進行深入相關理論的比照、分析、評論與檢視,以三類型當中分別包含的多面向議題,如其中著重於這三類型文化紀念物在建造前、中、後之紀念目的、紀念對象與紀念性意義之發展與演變,與其在城市當中所扮演的角色來建構因文化、國家與民族而有別的紀念性價值,同時提出文化紀念物之具有變動性力量的紀念性意義之詮釋。
    在社會與政治的型態轉變之下,紀念性意義會因此而產生與最初建設時不相同的意涵,而因標注性事件而建設的紀念物,其所形成的紀念性意義也會隨世代的汰換、社會變遷與政治情勢的改變而呈現其不同的意義,並隨各世代人民、紀念目的與空間的涵構而產生不同的變動性的力量。本研究之結論有四:第一,標注性紀念物之紀念性意義之轉變歷程為,由表達某人或國家的「附加給人民」勝利的紀念性到「為人民」的紀念性意義;第二,標注性紀念物與記憶的關係包含個人與集體,記憶在紀念物當中所扮演的角色影響著歷史與空間三者的對應關係;由中呈現並檢視標注性紀念物之形式於記憶與歷史之間所扮演的角色;第三,分析標注性事件在世代交替與社會變遷所造成變動之紀念性意涵,並在文中進行交叉映射,以確保論文中所探討的標注性事件並非獨立與斷然存在於歷史軸線;第四,建構標注性紀念物於歷史的向度中之紀念性價值。

    Abstract:
    Since the ancient meanings of monumentality that presents imperial power and triumph of kings. The meaning of monumentality has changed dramatically after series of war, republican of the Third Reich, and the revolution during twentieth century. The meanings of monuments and their meanings monumentality has been defined and redefined radically of their changing courses. Investigating meaning of “monumentality” on either tangible cultural heritages or intangible one is to be a rooted question under the aspects of conservation. This research focuses on three types of “event-marking” monuments that have disputed meanings, to discover from their commemorative purposes, process of erections, and the form of place / setting that monumental meanings embedded within.
    The research method starts from the analysis of changing of idea on monumentality, to reveal diverse emphasis of value and purposes under the changing courses of every epoch, monumental meaning will soon needs to be investigated on relating issues such as memory and history. And to dig into related notions in order to compare, analyze and to discuss from and between these three types of event-marking monuments, which are “monument of trauma”, “war monument” and “monument of political power”. This research emphasizes on their roles in urban settings that encompass monumental value with cross- nation/ culture/ region, to raise interpretations toward changing forces on monumentality.
    Under the transformation of social and political status, the creation of monuments would be different form the previous purpose of commemoration. Event-marking monuments also undergoing change over different generation, spatial content and epoch, to reveal altered meaning. The research concludes to four, the first, changing process of monumentality on “event- marking monument” is from the earlier idea of “to people” to “of people”. The second, aspects that constitute in monuments are inter- relationships that activates of individual memory, and collective memory. Memory acts as linkage between history and commemoration affectively. The third would ensure that even-marking monuments are not isolated and singled out in history, besides, they replace in generations and social changes. Last, Monumental values of event- marking monuments are assured while analyzing changed meaning of monumentality.
