本文應用質點影像測速儀(Particle Image Velocimetry,PIV)量測波浪作用下潛堤附近流場與渦流渦度的變化。試驗於二維試驗水槽中進行,利用試驗所量測到的流速資料可以求得流場分佈與渦流渦度。本文在水平底床及斜坡底床的試驗配置下,探討單列潛堤與雙列潛堤的流場特性,並且討論渦度與雷諾數之關係。經試驗結果發現,當各試驗配置的波浪週期變大時,波浪能提供渦流生成的波能愈多,堤角附近所產生之渦流大小愈明顯。在雙列潛堤配置時,當波浪週期變長,堤角附近生成之渦流規模變大,兩潛堤間之渦流會有互相影響的趨勢。渦度與雷諾數間之關係呈現當雷諾數值愈大渦度值也會隨之增加的趨勢。
Present research uses Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) to measure the changes of the velocity and the vorticity fields around the submerged breakwaters, as influenced by the wave interactions. The experiment is conducted in a two-dimensional experimental tank. The measured current velocities are used to calculate the velocity fields and the vorticity. The study addresses changes in the flow characteristics associated with a single submerged breakwater and the double submerged breakwaters with horizontal bottom and slope bottom, and to discuss the relationship between vorticity and Reynolds number. According to the results obtained from the experiments, when the period of wave is getting long that more wave energy can be provided to produce vortex from wave and the size of vortex is clearer nearby the corner of structure. In presence of double submerged breakwaters, when the period of wave is getting long that the scale of vortex has become larger nearby the corner of structure and there is a tendency of vortex interactions between the double submerged breakwaters. The relationship between vorticity and Reynolds number has to present that vorticity is also trend toward larger when Reynolds number become bigger.
