營建工程專案有時間、空間與成本上的限制與跨領域的特性。專案前期的規劃設計,對整個專案的成本、時程影響甚鉅。但由於界面傳達、交換資訊模糊之故,會導致前期設計規劃與後續施工產生資訊與評估上的差距。一旦發生對空間描述性不足,前期之決策往往導致後續空間出現衝突、或過於浪費無法達到最佳化的情況。本研究運用 3D空間、時間與資料庫組成4D視覺化模組進行決策研擬,並針對一特殊案例,進行施工可行性的探討,研究如何利用適當的溝通模式,解決資訊模糊問題,增進決策品質。4D視覺化模組可有效提供資訊傳達、交換、評估的資訊平台,得到最佳化的對策研擬方法,並提高規劃階段的品質,降低後續施工階段的風險。
Projects of construction are commonly for multi-purpose goals while with multi-constrain on space, time, budget and all kinds of resource limitations. Along the long life cycle of any given project, the decisions made in its early stage have the most impacts to the result-in performance of the entire project. The information transformation of the early-stage decisions is thus crucial for all later stages in the project. Problems of ineffective information transformation regarding the current practice using 2D paper-based documentation are of the main concerns of this study. In order to enhance the effectiveness of information transformation, this study introduces a 4D model, which consists of a 3D spatial model as well as a time schedule, to cut the drawbacks of the current 2D practices. The 4D model can easily simulate many possible construction options in the early stage of construction. Adopting the 4D model, people can clearly exchange the idea regarding the constructability of any proposed measure. A case study of difficult excavation in congested urban area is presented to show the effectiveness of information transformation for the job-site decision-making. It concludes that the 4D model provides an information exchange platform for deciding proper measures and reducing the risk of construction especially for cases of difficult situation.
