Basing on warm-glow giving theory (Andreoni, 1990) this study tries to investigate the influence of social capital, competition, and social distance on knowledge sharing behavior. Experimental study utilizing z-Tree (Fischbacher, 2007) was done using a programmed modified dictator game called knowledge sharing game. The results indicated significant predictive ability through the availability of social capital and competition while social distance was not a significant predictor of knowledge sharing behavior.
