本論文討論多媒體選取系統上,對於媒體保護的問題。原本在MPEG-1及MPEG-2上,基於其規格及壓縮特性所使用的加密演算法,在新的MPEG-4上並不適用。本論文所提出的方法是針對MPEG-4特性的加密方式。此方法基於MPEG-4內容的物件組成特性,將壓縮實驗於物件描述子上,可以有效的加密MPEG-4的內容,且計算量遠小於之前在MPEG-1及MPEG-2上的方式且更具有彈性及實用性。在整體的架構設計上並加入了智慧卡系統以加強加密及認證上的強健性。
This paper discusses the security problems of Video-on-Demand systems. The encryption algorithms on MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 are based on the standard characteristics and coding styles, but they are not suitable in the MPEG-4 systems. This paper is focused on the encryption/decryption method for the MPEG-4 content characteristics and to provides a new way approach for intellectual property protection. The encryption method develops an efficient way for MPEG-4 content and It requires less computing power than MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 algorithms. It suggests encrypts randomly or purposely selectedan MPEG-4 encryption algorithm based on MPEG-4 object descriptor information. According to the visual-object coding style on MPEG-4, this method approach can bring more is flexibilflexibleity and practicabipracticablelity. In the system architecture design, w. We use incorporated it with the smart cards technology for the robustness of the system security and authentication.
