本研究之主要目的探討台商赴大陸投資對中國大陸總體經濟之影響，所探討的變數包括中國大陸資本累積、貿易收支、國際收支與就業人口。所使用的研究方法包括單根檢定、共線性檢定、Nested Test、變異數不齊一檢定、自我相關檢定及迴歸分析。實證期間為1993年第1季至2003年第4季，整理後資料共計44筆之季資料。
　　綜合本文之實證研究結果，本研究針對台商投資大陸對中國大陸重要經濟變數影響之各項結論可分述如下：
一、資本累積方面
　　在資本累積方程式中，影響中國大陸資本累積的變數有中國大陸國民生產毛額、中國大陸職工平均工資；而台商赴大陸投資額對中國大陸資本累積則呈現無顯著性的正向影響。
二、貿易收支方面
　　在貿易收支方程式中，影響中國大陸貿易收支的變數有前一季中國大陸出口金額、台商赴大陸投資額、中國大陸國內生產毛額、中國大陸商品零售價格指數；而台商赴大陸投資額對中國大陸貿易收支則有顯著性的正向影響。
三、國際收支方面
　　在國際收支方程式中，影響中國大陸國際收支的變數有中國大陸貿易淨額、中國大陸商品零售價格指數、中國大陸貨幣市場利率、中國大陸資本帳與金融帳、中國大陸對外直接投資額；而台商赴大陸投資額對中國大陸國際收支則呈現無顯著性的正向影響。
四、就業人口方面
　　在就業人口方程式中，影響中國大陸就業人口的變數有中國大陸職工平均工資；而台商赴大陸投資額對中國大陸就業人口則無顯著性的負向影響。

　The main purpose of this research is to confirm the influence toward China domestic economy of Taiwanese invests in China. The variables we are focusing on include China capital accumulation, trade revenue and expenditure, BOP, employment population. The unit root test, multicollinearity test, Nested hypothesis, heteroscedasticity test, auto correlation test, and regression analysis are used as our research methods. The data is from 1993 1Q to 2003 4Q. In total 44 quarters are included.
　According to my empirical research results, the goal is to figure out how Taiwanese investment will affect China's important economic variables. The following conclusions as shown below have been reached：

1.Aspect of Capital Accumulation
　The variables that have a significant effect on Capital Accumulation are the Chinese GNP and the Chinese average wage in the Aspect of Capital Accumulation. The relationship between Taiwanese investment in China and Chinese capital accumulation has a positive effect.
2. Aspect of Balance of International Payments
　The variables that have a significant effect on the Balance of International Payments are the most recent Chinese export value, Taiwanese investment in China, Chinese GDP and Chinese retail price index in the Aspect of Balance of International Payments. The relationship between Taiwanese investment in China and the Chinese Balance of International Payments has a significantly positive effect.
3. Aspect of BOP
　The variables that have a significant effect on BOP are the Chinese balance of trade surplus, Chinese retail price index, Chinese money market interest rates, Chinese capital and financial account and Chinese foreign investment in the Aspect of BOP. The relationship between Taiwanese investment in China and Chinese BOP has a positive effect.
4. Aspect of Employment Population
　The variables that have a significant effect on Employment Population are Chinese average wage in the Aspect of Employment Population. The relationship between Taiwanese investment in China and Chinese Employment Population has a negative effect.
