Florian R. Fournier提出了一個可利用複合橢圓反射鏡,針對擴展光源進行照明設計的方法。此複合橢圓反射鏡由許多子橢圓反射鏡所構成。本論文依據此方法建構複合橢圓反射鏡的計算程式。並利用此程式設計符合歐規汽車頭燈R112法規的LED車燈。本論文的設計流程如下:根據目標面的照度分布於目標面配置各子橢圓反射鏡的焦點及通量權重。利用程式迭代計算各子橢圓焦參數使各子橢圓透鏡通量符合需求,再於LightTools中建立複合橢圓反射鏡模型並進行光追跡以驗證其性能。最後,本論文提出了一個利用複合橢圓反射鏡搭配凹透鏡的架構,成功地設計出符合歐規車輛法規之汽車頭燈。
Florian R. Fournier proposed a method to design illumination systems with extended sources using compound elliptic reflectors. The compound elliptic reflector is composed of several elliptic sub-reflectors. This thesis drafts simulation codes for building up the compound elliptic reflector. And, this thesis use the codes to design LED automotive headlamps using compound elliptic reflectors that satisfying Europe ECE R112 regulations for automotive headlamps. The design process is addressed as the followings. Firstly, we arrange focuses of elliptic sub-reflectors at the target illumination surface according the target illumination distribution. Secondly, we calculate the focal parameters of all elliptic sub-reflectors using the iteration simulation codes we drafted. The iteration codes can find suitable focal parameters which make sure that optical fluxes passing through all elliptic sub-reflectors is closed the values as we wanted. Finally, we build up the models of automotive headlamps using the software LightTools, and trace rays to verify if the illumination distributions of our automotive headlamp designs fulfill the ECE R112 regulations. At last, this thesis provides automotive headlamp designs that comprises a compound elliptic reflector and a concave lens. And illumination distributions of the designs satisfy ECE R112 regulations for automotive headlamps.
