Many studies indicate that colors have influences on people’s emotions, cognitions and behaviors. Creativity is one of the abilities that have become more and more important in recent years. Even with the rapid development of science and technology, there are much more tools and methods people can use to create new things and solve problems than ever before. However, the way people mainly use to evaluate creativity is still tests on paper. In view of it, in this research aims to explore whether different indoor colors will affect the performance of creativity, and the feasibility of using Lego bricks as a tool to evaluate creativity. There are a total of 126 valid samples of undergraduates and postgraduates, who were randomly assigned to one of the red, yellow, and white color indoor spaces to do the Lego brick creativity experiment and the Torrans creativity test. The results show that there is no significant difference in the creativity performance of the Lego bricks in the three spaces with different indoor colors. However, in the results of the Torrance creativity test, females have a better performance than males. In addition, students from the Department of Industrial Design compare students from other departments have better performances in both the Torrance Creativity Test and the Lego creativity experiment, and the correlation of the creativity scores between Lego bricks and the Torrance Creativity Test has statistical significance with a low correlation.
