    • 在地理資訊應用系統的建置工作中，資料搜集為最主要也最耗時的部分。近年來PDA 逐漸應用於地理資料的野外調查與檢核工作，大幅提升了資料搜集的作業效率。為加速完成資料搜集工作，通常利用多台PDA對同一主題資料進行資料搜集，然而將造成同一圖檔會關連數個屬性檔，屬性檔的資料間卻可能會發生衝突、不一致的現象，造成內業處理上的困難及可能又需回到現場檢查成果。

    本文試圖應用資料庫系統提供的合併複寫機制來解決上述問題，研究中採用Microsoft SQL Server 2000（伺服器端）與CE（PDA 端）資料庫系統進行GIS 的屬性資料搜集與維護。在桌上型伺服器先建立一屬性資料庫，供PDA 端進行同步處理。外業人員可以不受限制各自搜集屬性資料，並於完成後將所搜集的資料一一同步至伺服器的資料庫中，資料庫系統將自動進行資料處理與更新，並針對資料衝突部分進行排解與回報。如此便可以同時多方面的進行資料搜集，不需擔心資料發生衝突，而資料庫也可始終維持最新且完整的屬性資訊。

    Data Collection is the most important and time-consuming task in GIS data acquisition. Recently, PDAs are used in field data collection and checking to increase the efficiency. Existing PDA data collection systems usually take down the attribute data with file system. However, when several users simultaneously work in the same operation area, it may cause problems of data conflict between files of attribute data and increase the difficulty of follow-up works. For this reason, user may need to return to the locale for checking the results.

    In this study, we use the “merge replication technique” of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server CE to solve the problem. After constructing an attribute database server in a PC server, users can collect data unrestrictedly and synchronize data through between PDA and the server. The database manage system will automatically update the database, solve the problem of the data conflict and reply the situation. User can multilateral collect attribute data and the database can maintain the most complete and newest information consequently.
