台灣的銀行產業發展過程經歷銀行整併,以及後來的西進中國大陸金融市場。本文以訪談方式,討論國內銀行整併,以及台資銀行進入中國金融市場之效益。首先以「交易成本理論」觀點下,整併後銀行內部需要時間磨合,並且需要一段時間才能看得出整併的良優;不過,由於台灣的市場規模小,為了要與亞洲頂尖銀行競爭,整併是必經之路,並且金融科技發展趨勢下,整併後增加銀行資本,才能夠充分投資金融科技之發展。另一方面,「資源策略理論」觀點視之,銀行需要向外部資源求援,委託金融科技專業機構,建構完善的金融科技服務系統,同時能夠使得銀行內部充分學習金融科技服務模式。
而在台資銀行西進中國的經營策略,多位專家指出,深化當地文化,由身處於中國的台資子行帶領母行於中國金融布局;金融科技當道,中國的台資銀行因規模小,無法獨自創立金融科技研發單位,而是尋求外部合作。而對於我國金管當局的建議,我國的第三方支付,政府協助國內的第三方支付系統平台更加單一化、以及完備化,方可增加國內消費者使用意願;有關現今廣為討論的洗錢防制方面,專家建議,台灣金融相關單位協助台資銀行訓練法遵人員,強化我國銀行的洗錢防制系統。

SUMMARY
The development of Taiwan ’s banking industry experienced bank consolidation and subsequent westward entry into mainland China ’s financial market. This article uses interviews to discuss the consolidation of domestic banks and the benefits of Taiwan-funded banks entering the Chinese financial market. First, from the perspective of the "transaction cost theory", it takes time for the banks to merge after the merger, and it will take some time to see the advantages of the merger; And it is the only way to go, and under the development trend of financial technology, after the merger and increase of bank capital, we can fully invest in the development of financial technology. On the other hand, from the perspective of "resource strategy theory", banks need to seek assistance from external resources and entrust professional fintech institutions to build a complete fintech service system, while at the same time enabling banks to fully learn the fintech service model.
Taiwan-funded subsidiary banks in China lead their mother banks in China ’s financial layout; as financial technology prevails, Taiwan-funded banks in China are small due to their small scale. It is not possible to create a fintech R & D unit alone, but to seek external cooperation. As for China ’s financial management authority ’s recommendations, China ’s third-party payment, and the government ’s assistance in the domestic third-party payment system platform to be more singular and complete, it can increase domestic consumers ’willingness to use; related to the money laundering prevention that is widely discussed Experts suggest that Taiwan ’s financial-related units assist Taiwan-funded banks to train law-abiding personnel and strengthen the money laundering prevention system of Chinese banks.
