With the changes in the industrial environment, many companies have been affected by Industry 4.0 and have begun t to devote themselves to transformation, changing industrial development and business operation models. This change makes the method of creating value for enterprises from one-way interaction in the past to a two-way model.
The concept of value co-creation is gradually being valued by enterprises. It is expected that through the thinking of value co-creation, participants can work together to create a win-win situation.
In addition, in response to the advancement of information and the improvement of industrial technology specialization, enterprises will emphasize the "cooperation strategy" of mutually beneficial relationships in the future. Share resources and improve each other's status in the industry, when creating value together, in order to achieve the value acquisition of the enterprise itself.
This research adopts the multiple case study method in the qualitative research method, based on the theory of "supplier partnership" and "value co-creation", to analyze the development and process of the interconnected network of stakeholders in the metal industry.
According to the results of this research, when collaborating with suppliers, companies must first understand the problems, jointly find solutions to the problems, and put forward proposals with cooperation value based on the value proposition, and exchange resources and experience from the process. In addition to obtaining individual value, it also achieves value co-creation and promotes the industry. In the process of interaction, participants share experiences and learn from each other to achieve the effect of mutual reinforcement and enhance each other's capabilities, and because of the relationship of mutual trust, it will ultimately contribute to the future development of both companies.
