進入了二十一世紀,供應鏈管理成為了企業維持競爭優勢的重要議題。但因為供應鏈各成員缺乏溝通和合作,產生了「長鞭效應」的現象,為了克服「長鞭效應」過去很多學者提出不同的合作或協商機制,但大部分的協商機制探討的是單一產品供應鏈,而我們觀察到多產品協商機制更能符合實際的商業模式。所以,本論文希望發展出兩種多產品的訂購協商機制,以協助製造商找到最佳的價格折扣,希望透過此供應鏈協商機制使整體供應鏈的利潤提昇,增加供應鏈整體的競爭力。以及探討哪些重要因素會對供應鏈的利潤有重要的影響,以提供各成員改善績效的方向。本論文是在Klastorin et al. (2002) 提出之供應鏈協商機制上發展成多產品的供應鏈模式,多產品的訂貨模式比單產品的訂貨模式變得複雜,本論文分別對零售商以不同的訂貨策略,分別是:固定週期訂購法和獨立週期訂購法,對零售商和供應商的決策方式進行模式的推導。在零售商使用獨立週期訂購時,本論文加入最少訂購量的限制,以控制下游零售商的訂貨數量。最後,我們進行了演算實驗,本論文提出的協商機制都能使製造商的利潤獲得提昇。同時,我們發現存貨單位持有成本比率和訂貨週期對製造商利潤有重要的影響,製造商可以透過對這項因素的改善來提昇利潤。
