  • 隨著資訊科技的日漸進步,傳統家電在未來勢必會逐漸科技化。資訊家電將以傳統家電的價格及更強大的功能來整合網路與無線通訊的能力,並以更人性化的操控方式進駐每個家庭,如Home Audio/Video Interoperability (HAVi)、及Java 2 Micro Edition Connect Device Configuration(J2ME-CDC)等,許許多多的介面規格都是為了這樣的需求因應而生。在家電使用上遙控器成為一種不可或缺的裝置,但隨著科技的發達,資訊產品的功能也隨之強大及多樣化,使得搭載家電的遙控器日益增多。如:Panasonic的電視、SAMPO的DVD播放器、YAMAHA的音響等,這些裝置都有其配合的遙控器。如此多個遙控器共同存在,亦會成為生活上的一種不便。目前市面上雖然有許多所謂的萬能遙控器(具有多種實體按鈕的遙控器),但它須先針對遙控家電的頻道做預先的調整,才可以使用。在本論文中,我們所提出的自發性通用遙控機制,是一種應用在遙控器及家電上的遙控機制。本通用型遙控器會自動感應受控體的類型,然後動態地下載受控體的內文;使用者並不需要去做預先調整的動作,即可達到自發性地遙控各式電器的目的。在本論文中,首先我們先以紅外線搭配IEEE802.11b無線網路,配合 Java RMI 套件實做了幾個具有自發性通用遙控特性的遙控器與受控體雛形驗證本架構的可行性。而後,我們更以Bluetooth介面透過Service Discovery Protocol(SDP)與RFComm通信協定及嵌入式系統技術,整合且實作了另一組功能更強大的雛形。此機制的基礎架構及相關的定義與可行性均已驗證完成。相信在不久的將來,我們可將此架構推廣而成為一個實用的開發平台,使其應用於各式儀器(如家電、工廠之生產機台、醫療設備…等)的遙控機制。

    With the development of information technology, the traditional information appliance (IA) will further evolve. IA, such as home audio/video interoperability (HAVi), Java 2 Micro Edition Connect Device Configuration (J2ME-CDC), etc., in the future will enter everyone’s home with competitive pricing, friendly control interface, and integration of wired and wireless network. Accompanied with the increasing variety and functions of IAs, more and more controllers are created and this makes the controller an inseparable part to IA. But such many controllers subjected to different IAs make the operation difficult since you have to switch from one controller to another when you want to operate different IAs. Although on the market, there are some configurable controllers; they must be configured with the channels of the subjected IAs before use. In this work, the autonomous and generic remote control scheme is proposed to serve as the remote control scheme between controllers and IAs. This generic remote controller (GRC) can automatically detect the controlled subjects and dynamically download the context form the controlled subjects. Users can conveniently control different IAs without prior configuring the GRC.The IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN devices and infrared rays are utilized with Java RMI technology to develop the prototype of GRC with the characteristics of autonomous universal controlling, and some simple controlled subjects to verify the viability of this architecture. Consequently, through the Service Discovery Protocol (SDP), RFComm protocol and embedded system technology, we integrated and implement another powerful prototype which is interfaced with Bluetooth. The infrastructure, relate definitions, and viability of this scheme have verified to be workable. We believe in the near future, the proposed scheme can be evolved into a practical development platform applied in various devices, such as IAs, production machines, medical equipment, etc.
