社會企業主要營運宗旨是解決社會問題,並運用商業的模式或工具來支持其永續經營。政府、傳統非營利組織或是營利企業都有能力解決某些社會問題,但在部分層面上都各有其不足之處,所以社會企業的發展逐漸受到重視。
近年來平台企業的快速成功興起,藉由網際網路的發展且妥善經營,將會產生平台的正向網絡效應,進而增加平台與整個平台生態系統的價值。所以無論企業家或是學者都廣為探討其關鍵運作要素,以作為實務借鏡或是學術上的研究發展。
本研究之產業背景為社會企業,以紅龜好事群募平台作為研究對象,運用質性研究的個案研究法與次級資料的相互印證,描繪出個案的真實性。為了詳細敘述企業的運作流程與各項資源配合,故以Osterwalder and Pigneur (2010)提出的商業模式畫布之十一個要素來檢視研究個案。研究首先聚焦在社會企業的公益部分在平台上運作,探討其平台經營;另外再實證社會企業在平台經營的關鍵要素及其互動關係。
最終研究結果發現,沒有涉及利潤營收之公益項目在平台上經營,可以有兩種類型的策略,一種是重視專案以及參與者的數量,使平台的網絡效應增加;另一種是注重專案本身「品質」,使其發酵一樣能達到吸引參與者加入的效果。此外社會企業在平台的運作上,應該更彰顯並傳達其社會企業正面的價值主張,能讓平台上的參與者更有效、迅速的交換價值;以及吸引平台外部的群眾加入平台參與互動,成就促進社會福利的企業目標。
This research discuss that how social enterprise operate the platform, and choose the RT crowdfunding platform as practice case. Using the interview data as primary data and prove its reality by secondary data and adopts the eleven elements of business model canvas as analytic tool. And it review the literature of the concept of business model, the development of platform business and the background of social enterprise.
After the discussion and analysis of the project of RT platform, the conclusion shows that there are two different kinds of strategy for social enterprise to operate the platform, if with proper management, both of the strategies can bring the positive network effect to increase the value of the platform and participants, and increase the social benefit as well. This research also interpret the key functions and the key unit of platform of social enterprise platform, showing that how they interact and transfer the value unit on the platform.
