In the painting activities of the elderly, it can be found that most elderly feel nervous or even resisting when they are sharing the idea with others, which makes the elderly lose the opportunity to express themselves. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to provide an interactive painting display form for the elderly. Researchers combined with the display of paintings and interactive technology assistance to increase communication and interaction opportunities with others, promoting the social sharing of the elderly. The painting display system developed through literature collection, field observations, and expert interviews as the design basis and principles. The research results confirmed that this system is helpful to promote social sharing of the elderly, and the system features three elements: the display of the painting, jigsaw puzzle game, and interactive projection. First, the display of the painting allows the elderly to review their painting content, get the opportunity to be appreciated by others, and enhance their sense of accomplishment and self-confidence. Second, jigsaw puzzle game allows the elderly to activate the hand-eye coordination ability and cooperate and communicate with others. Third, interactive projection makes the display experience more interesting and attractive, so that the users can interact with others naturally. Consequently, it is hoped that this research can be used as a reference for future painting and display planning for the elderly to participate in leisure activities and establish social sharing to maintain their physical functions and mental health.
