隨著資訊科技的進步與網際網路的普及,人類正在進行資訊史上最巨大的一項工程,那就是:建構一個虛擬的、沒有國界的資訊新世界。
在這過程當中,人類正不停的將現實世界裡現有的資訊,諸如報紙、雜誌、書籍、政府文件等等,都放到網路上,也不停的在網路上生產新的資訊。簡而言之,整個網路正在堆積一個前所未有的超級大資料庫。
對於目前搜尋引擎的搜尋,使用者只要指定關鍵字搜尋,就會搜尋出很多跟關鍵字有關的資料,可是使用者想得到的資訊可能在這些搜尋結果中,所以使用者必須手動一個一個去點選搜尋的結果,才能找到所要的資訊。然而這樣找資料卻非常耗時。所以我們提出一套方法,利用ontology建構所描述資源之領域的ontology,接著利用RDF依據所建立之領域ontology來描述這些網路資源,產生RDF文件,發展一套支援RDF的搜尋系統,藉由搜尋用RDF描述資源的RDF文件來提升搜尋的精確度,以減少使用者搜尋資料時浪費太多的時間在挑選資料。
With the progress of information science and the popularization with the internet network, the mankind is carrying on the biggest project of information history ever.That is to build and construct new a virtual world without national boundaries.
In this process, mankind uploads information existing in the real world, such as the newspaper,magazine,books,public document,
etc.,to the network.We also produce new information in the network everyday.In brief, the whole network is piling up as a great super database ever.
Searching by search engine at present,the user only uses key words to make the search,and results in lots of materials related to key word.But the user needs to look for the true result he wants among all these searched results.And this is totally a waste of time.
Therefore, we now propose a set of methods, making use of the RDF to describe these network resources to produce RDF documents.We develop a searching system that supports RDF searching to improve the search accuracy by searching these RDF documents and to reduce the time users wasted on selecting results among the huge searching results.
