由於政府人力財力資源有限，且經營效率不如民間企業組織靈活有力的事實，公共建設與公共服務民營化乃成為世界性潮流。近年來，政府亦積極研議民間參與公共建設之配套措施及將政府業務委託民間辦理，以鼓勵民間投資意願，減輕財政負擔與增加行政效率。開放民間來投資或經營因政府財政困難而無力提供之公共建設，便成為一種趨勢。

因此，本研究係以崑鼎投資控股公司為分析對象，依崑鼎投資控股公司及旗下各主要子公司，於截至2011年12月止前5年之已公開財務報表資料為依據，以個案分析法進行分析崑鼎投資控股公司及旗下各主要子公司之經營績效表現。

本研究專案之個案分析範圍項目包含：營運分析（含市場分析）、財務分析、SWOT分析、成功與失敗分析、同業比較分析。

最後，將總結以上分析內容提出結論與建議。

本研究的實證結果如下：

本研究以多項常用的營運績效衡量指標：『股東權益報酬率』、『純益率』、『每股盈餘』、『負債佔資產比率』、『營運槓桿度』、『財務槓桿度』，用以衡量崑鼎投資控股公司績效的指標，結果顯示崑鼎投資控股公司及其主要子公司表現穩健並呈現向上成長之趨勢。

The privatization of public construction and management is a global trend. Due to the fiscal austerity of government and the management efficiency of enterprises, private involvement in public construction projects and public service are a strategy adopted in developed countries. In order to efficiently utilize private capital, promote executive efficiency and to encourage private investor to participate in the implementation of public works, the government has made many studies on economic incentive and law measures as well as promotional measures to the applied.However, as a result of the financial problems of the government’s support, the liberalization of private investments has generated as a trend.

As a result, the target for analysis in this study is the KD Holding Corporation. The data comes mainly from the source：the open financial information of the KD Holding Corporation and it’s subsidiaries in the five years before 2012. By means of a case study,the efficiency of business operation of the KD Holding Corporation and it’s subsidiaries is under study.

This research aimed to make the case study about the business analysis (included marketing analysis), the financial analysis, the SWOT analysis, the successes and failures analysis and the cross sectional analysis.

In sum, the conclusion and suggestions were analyzed and provided in this research.

Results of this study are as follows:

Multiple indicators frequently adopted for operational efficiency evaluation, namely return on equity, net profit ratio, earning per share, debt to net worth ratio, degree of op. lever, degree of fin. lever, are used to measure the operational efficiency of the KD Holding Corporation. Results show that the KD Holding Corporation and it’s subsidiaries present a stabilized performance and positive growth trending .
