近年來，政府針對佔全國能源消費量11.53％住宅部門投入相當多的資源做節能改善，在建築節能上亦提出許多方案，包括是建物的外部相關的節能計畫，到建築物的內部空調設備、揚水泵、電梯等。
根據既有文獻回顧發現，會影響到社會大眾進行綠色行為或綠色購買的因素有下列幾項，1.民眾的基本背景因素；2.民眾的環境意識；3.民眾對該產品獲該行為的認知程度。
另外，公寓大廈在進行大規模公用部分節能改善時，必須由區分所有權人會議同意才能進行改善，因此會導致改善的困難度因此本研究擬針對公寓大廈住戶調查其1.基本背景；2.環境意識；3.建築節能改善之認知；4.節能改善意願。並探討其基本背景變項、環境意識、節能改善認知、節能改善意願間之關係，希望藉此蒐集民眾對節能改善措施之認知、態度及行動等相關資訊，做為節能改善推動之參考，並藉此促進民眾對環境意識、節能改善措施之認知。本研究成果如下：
1.多數的使用者在使用冷氣時會搭配電扇使用，以提高冷氣效率。
2.六成以上的民眾會拔除插頭，以減少待機電力的消耗。
3.三成以上的樣本在使用冷氣時會設定在建議值26‐28 度。
4.半數以上的使用者冷氣濾網清洗頻率未達建議值及不注重冷氣的保養。
5.民眾在環保與能源議題認知偏低；民眾對節能改善方式的認知是偏低；民眾對節能改善政策的認知仍屬模糊的階段，其對於環保署推動節能減碳有印象的比例最高，取得節能改善資訊的以電視取得節能改善的資訊比例最高。
6.在環境態度結果顯示出民眾在環境態度上是相當積極的，調查結果顯示96%的社區住戶對於社區的節能改善抱持正面且積極的態度，整體平均可接受支出公基金之比例為22.8%，可接受之回收年限為3.8 年。

In recent years, Taiwan government has invested a lot to save energy consumption, which is 11.53%, in residential sector. The government also proposed many plans to improve energy efficiency for residential building, such as using shade, high- efficiency building services etc.
According to reference, the factors that will affect people doing green consuming or green behavior are as follows:
1. The background of people.
2. The environmental awareness of people.
3. The cognition and attitude toward green behavior and green products.
In addition, talking to the renovation of common space in condominiums, it is necessary to hold a meeting among property owners. That will increase the difficulty of renovation. In order to realize the feasibility of energy-saving renovation of common space in condominiums, the study conducts the survey of household in 10 condominiums in Tainan, Taiwan. The survey use an questionnaire to understand the household cognition and attitude toward energy-saving measures, and investigate the relationship between 「the background of the household」, 「the environmental awareness」, 「the knowledge of energy-saving measures for condominiums」 and 「the willingness of energy-saving renovation 」. The conclusion is as follows:
1. Most people turn on the fans when using air conditioning to improve the efficiency of air conditioning.
2. About 60% people unplugged the non-using electronic appliances.
3.About 37% people set the temperature between the suggested number 26~28 ℃.
4. More than 50% people don』t know they have to maintain their air conditioner and clean the filter regularly.
5.The result shows that Taiwan people didn』t clearly understand about environmental and energy issues but their environmental attitude were very positive and a low level of knowledge about energy-savings measures and energy-saving policies among the households. TV program is the main source of energy-saving information.
6. The result shows that 96% of people show positive attitude to renovate their community. The acceptable payback time and money are 3.8 years and 22.8% of community fund.
