本研究主要運用組織人因工程導向中的參與式人因方法,進行聽力防護具配戴率之提升活動並作現場實驗前後之比較,以觀察聽力防護具的配戴率會增加多少?並且也會對未實施改善計劃的廠商來做配戴率的觀測比較。本研究總共參訪調查七家傳統廠商,從參訪調查中,選出C與 G兩家廠商來參與改善活動,並且選出E與F兩家未運用組織人因工程導向來改善之廠商,當作對照組。
在有參與改善計劃的C與 G兩家廠商,共有59個成員參與,其整體配戴率從計劃實施前的15﹪提升到96﹪。而在對照組E與F兩家廠商中,則其在配戴聽力防護具的配戴率,僅從19﹪提升到37﹪。因此本研究,可發現藉由組織人因工程導向,在解決聽力防護具佩戴的問題,具有很大的效果。這也證明其能夠全面性考慮涵蓋在組織、人員、技術與環境的因果相關因素,進而透過特定的方法,達到所要追求的目標。
