  • 隨著近代電腦運算能力的急速增強、電腦網路頻寬的快速成長,加上醫院無片化環境的推廣建置,使得遠距醫療會診系統(medical teleconsultation system)的應用日漸普及。使用遠距醫療會診系統,醫師將可以透過網路同時對電子醫療影像進行診斷討論。目前遠距醫療會診系統的技術已逐漸成熟,本篇研究將現有的遠距醫療會診系統擴充成為支援多重伺服器,提供共享伺服器的醫療資源,以及整合進行遠距醫療會診的能力,可大幅提升系統的延伸性、可用性、與實際應用上的價值。

    With fast growing of computing power, network bandwidth, and trend of the filmless environments in hospitals, applications for medical teleconsultation are more pervasive. Nowadays, the technology for medical teleconsultation systems becomes mature. Physicians can diagnose and discuss DICOM medical images via remote telecommunications with a teleconsultation system. This work focuses on designing multiserver support for an existing Web-based Medical Teleconsultation System. After the system has been extended to the multiple server environment, computing resources and medical information will be shared among servers. Moreover, both availability and scalability of the system are enhanced. The multi-server support has been implemented successfully. The teleconsultation system with the extension can reserve sessions, proceed teleconsultations, and replay discussions for users from different servers.
