The production technology of bicycle industry is gradually matured, and the function of bicycle has evolved from the early transportation tool to the field of competition and leisure. In recent years, there have been a wave of bicycle racing events, driving the popularity of road bikes, which are known for their sense of speed, promote the bicycle trend in sports events and bring up more people's passion for sports; therefore, more and more people are willing to invest money in the field of bicycles to create exclusive models and make customized adjustments according to each person's height and figure. In the market, Taiwan's bicycle manufacturers also have a place and all internationally renowned brands are manufactured in Taiwan, with a certain degree of reputation and fame. However, the bicycle industry in Taiwan has reached a certain level of maturity, and the design process is often limited by the styling and cannot break through with innovation. For that reason, this study develops a systematic and objective design process for road bike frame to meet the market needs, so that designers can create a different imagination and development space in the design process. Hence, this study uses the bionic design approach and adds the leopard, which ranks first in jumping and running speed, as the design concept of this study, and then uses kansei engineering as the basis to investigate the vocabulary of the imagery of the styling after the styling blending, as an objective design process to develop a method for innovative bicycle design. This study is divided into three stages. The first part is the market survey and analysis; the second part is the establishment of the styling blending platform, using styling blending and morphing theory to apply the bionic design to the styling blending of the frame. So this study uses the existing programming software Grassghopper to write the mixing process . Theoretically, the 2D planar contours and feature curves are used to blend the bicycle with the muscular elements of the bionic leopard. Finally, the 3D modeling platform is used to construct the blended styling. In the form of a questionnaire survey, 30 industrial design students were asked to investigate whether the adjective vocabulary and the blending ratio obtained from the pilot questionnaire are positively correlated with the post-blending styling. As validated by the questionnaire, this study method is applicable to designers in the process of styling ideas, providing designers with inspiration and direction in the design process, so that they can fuse different imagery of the styling together to develop more possibilities of different stylings, and design products that better meet the needs of the market and consumer perception of the imagery of the styling.
