This study examines how technostress and coping strategies influence job performance in hybrid work environments, with a particular focus on the moderating role of technological mindfulness. Drawing on technostress and coping theories, a research model linking technology characteristics, technostress, coping strategies, and job performance was empirically tested using survey data from hybrid workers. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with bootstrapping was employed to assess direct, indirect, and interaction effects. The results indicate that coping strategies positively affect job performance, whereas technostress has a significant negative impact. Technological mindfulness exhibits a strong direct effect on performance and significantly moderates the technostress–performance relationship. Conditional indirect effects further reveal a moderated mediation pattern, whereby the indirect effects of technology characteristics on job performance through coping strategies and technostress are significant only at moderate to high levels of technological mindfulness. The findings advance understanding of technology-related stress processes in hybrid work contexts and offer practical insights for enhancing employee performance.
