本研究之主要目的在探討定期海運業實施「企業社會責任」、「企業形象」與「組織績效」間關係。經因素分析後將企業社會責任分為「社會參與」、「企業承諾」與「揭露」等三個因素;企業形象分為「無形的形象」與「有形的形象」兩個因素;組織績效則分為「財務績效」與「非財務績效」兩個因素。經由複廻歸分析結果,「企業社會責任」對於「企業形象」與「組織績效」有正向的影響關係,而「企業形象」亦對於「組織績效」有顯著性的正向影響。本研究之結果可提供定期海運業者營運策略之參考。
The objective of this study is to examine the relationships between corporate social responsibility, corporate image and organizational performance in Taiwanese liner shipping industry. Three types of corporate social responsibility are identified from the result of a factor analysis. These factors are named as community involvement, business commitment and disclosure. Corporate image was categorized into intangible image and tangible image. With respect to organizational performance, both financial performance and non-financial performance are used as independent variables in this study. The findings of this study are as followed: (1) Corporate social responsibility has a significant positive influence on corporate image; (2) Corporate social responsibility also has a significant positive influence on organizational performance; (3) Corporate image positively effects organizational performance.
