This study utilizes high-density in-situ ion density data measured by the Ion Velocity Meter (IVM) onboard the FORMOSAT-7/COSMIC-2 constellation to investigate the connection between equatorial plasma bubbles (EPBs) and atmospheric waves. By establishing relative ion density perturbation thresholds, we categorized observed density depletions into Large-Scale Wave Structures (LSWS) and EPBs to calculate their spatial intervals during the nighttime window (19:00 to 04:00 Local Time). The analysis indicates that the median inter-bubble spacing varies between 359 and 425 km depending on the season, exhibiting a high degree of spatial scale similarity with the median spacing of LSWS (approximately 366-500 km). Furthermore, longitudinal distributions reveal that the median EPB spacing is significantly lower near atmospheric gravity wave (AGW) hotspots, a phenomenon highly consistent with the dispersion effect of outwardpropagating AGWs. Finally, by analyzing postmidnight EPBs during the solar minimum, this study effectively isolates and excludes the initial influence of the Pre-Reversal Enhancement (PRE). The results confirm that EPBs can still develop without the influence of the PRE, thereby providing direct observational evidence that LSWS serves asone of the critical seeding factors for EPB generation.
