  • 本研究之主要目的在於探討散裝海運業船員國家文化與船長領導風格對安全績效的關係。經因素分析後將國家文化分為「權力距離」、「不確定性規避」、「男性主義」、「團隊主義」與「長期導向」等五個因素;領導風格分為「轉換型領導」、「被動管理型領導」與「持續獎勵型領導」等三個因素;安全績效分為「安全態度」與「安全行為」兩個因素。
    應用複廻歸分析之結果得知,散裝海運業船員之「權力距離」、「不確定性規避」、「團隊主義」與「長期導向」對於「安全行為」皆有正向的影響關係;而「長期導向」對於「安全態度」亦有正向的影響關係,僅「男性主義」對於「安全態度」有顯著性的負向影響;此外,在領導風格方面,「轉換型領導」對於「安全態度」與「安全行為」皆呈現正向的影響效果。本研究之結果可供散裝海運業者作為船員管理之參考。

    The objective of this study is to examine the effects of national culture and ledership style on safety performance in bulk shipping companies. Five national culture, three leadership style and two safety performance dimensions are identified based on factor analysis. These five personality dimensions are power distance, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, masculinity and long-term orientation. Leadership style can be divided into three factors, including transformational leadership, contigent reward leadership and management by passive leadership, whereas two safety performance dimensions can be categorized into safety attitude and safety behaviour.
    The findings of this study are as followed: (1) Power distance, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, and long-term orientation have significant positive influence on safety behaviour; (2) Long-trem orientation has significant positive influence on safety attitude, but masculinity has a significant negative influence on safety attitude; (3) Transformational leadership has significant positive influence on safety attitude and safety behaviour. Practical implications of the research findings on improve crew management in this research.
