在過去環境穩定的時代,形成供應鏈之企業,尤其是遠離最終消費者之製造商,多半僅關心直接影響到其企業運作的因素;但要想在現今知識經濟及高度競爭的環境中獲得利潤,企業必須了解需求端的變化,將關注之焦點
從供應轉移到消費需求之上,以俾能掌握需求端之變化並加以適當的回應。
供應鏈管理近年來有蓬勃發展,然而在產業中,供應鏈管理導入失敗之例子仍屢見不鮮。而在討論文獻時可以發現供應商改善長鞭效應時,往往只專注於改善己端的供應鏈,也就是減少堆積過時商品或者降低存貨水準、壓縮完全生產時間等等改善效率等方案,也就是說往需求變動越大的後端改善可能使改善效果並不明顯,因此應該可在規劃供應鏈策略階段時,將需求端之因素加入考量以減少導入失敗的機率。
本研究藉由Aitken et al.(2002,2003)所提出的聚焦需求鏈觀念為基礎,透過多屬性決策方法,建立一決策模式來討論決策者如何在不同產品類型下決定適當之製造策略,設計需求鏈以達最大績效,進而探討策略適配。其次,進一步探討決策者在相同產品類型下,其決策準則重視程度對製造策略選擇之影響,以其了解決策者的準則權重對需求鏈設計之關係,根據模式討論後結果比較分析。
經由本研究模式討論後可以進一步補充學者所提出之需求鏈管理內涵且發現決策者對不同屬性的主觀偏好可能會對製造策略選擇產生影響,因此本研究整合文獻中所提出需求鏈管理模式,提出一更具客觀之需求鏈管理整合模式,以期提供企業決策者做為決策之參考。
