Environmental assessment tools for dementia care facilities have placed a great value on environmental adjustments as a design guideline. This study aimed to make a considerate dementia cafés based on the PLST model. To construct the design principles of dementia cafés, an analysis of the literature review and a focus group discussion was carried out. Six dimensions in the environmental design of dementia cafés have been summed up by eight experts through a questionnaire using AHP methods. The design principles may become a reference material for the staff members when thinking out an environmental issue in dementia cafés.
