The purpose of this study was to explore the nutritional knowledge and nutritional attitudes in the adults who used to exercise and train in the gym. A total number of 251 participants, aged between 25-65 with over 1 year of gym exercise experience, were recruited as samples. They were divided into 3 groups, including aged 20-34, 35-49, and 50-65 years, based on the research method of 2020 Global Fitness Trend. The differences and relationships of the nutritional knowledge and nutritional attitudes among the three groups were examined using independent samples of one-way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation in this study. The results showed that among the 12 sub-variables in the nutritional knowledge questionnaire, there were two indices achieved significant difference amomg the three groups, with the scores of the protein (p = .022) and vegetables(p = .047)for the 50-65 and 20-30 age groups, respectively, being significantly higher than the other two groups. These findings revealed that the 50-65 age group had a better understanding regarding the source of protein and the source of muscle strength, whereas the 20-34 age group had better access to food knowledge and food science. In addition, the 50-60 age group showed the best nutritional knowledge and nutritional attitudes. On contrary, the younger the age group, the less nutritional knowledge. The present findings suggested that although the young group perform exercising and training more regularly, however, it is worth noting that this group tends to ignore the importance of nutritional knowledge.
