當前的城市設計規劃流程欠缺了與兒童與青少年的溝通媒介,常陷於專業者主觀的價值與認知,忽略了兒少真正的使用需求。本研究旨在創造一套城市空間改造的參與過程,實驗並探討公共空間的多元性與實踐需求。設計師將轉為策略性角色,透過實際行動讓特定的社會主體相互溝通、協同合作並進行共識的整合,藉此方式推動以兒童與青少年所主導的參與式空間設計。
本研究先以文獻回顧瞭解兒童與青少年參與城市空間設計的優勢與技術困境,並探討以新興科技作為突破口的潛力。接著運用Unity作為遊戲引擎,開發一套使用擴增實境技術的建構性遊戲,將抽象的建築設計手法可視化、遊戲化。最後,組建參與式工作坊的架構,尋求合適的參與者,並透過活動的實踐,對不同向度的因素進行記錄與調查,進而修正、優化。
這項研究的目標是為兒童與青少年設計一套新型態的參與式空間設計流程,並透過真實的行動實踐和謹慎的過程記錄,提供一份具有參考價值的研究經驗,累積並共享成果。
In the realm of urban design and planning, the prevailing methodologies frequently fall short in establishing meaningful communication channels with children and adolescents. This deficiency results in a reliance on subjective values and perceptions from professionals, often at the expense of overlooking the genuine needs of the youth. This research endeavors to address this critical gap by advocating for the reconstruction of a participatory process tailored to urban space transformation. Central to this endeavor is the exploration of the diverse and practical requirements inherent in public spaces. By delving into the multifaceted nature of urban environments, this study seeks to uncover the nuanced perspectives and aspirations of children and adolescents. Designers are poised to assume strategic roles in this paradigm shift, tasked with facilitating communication, collaboration, and consensus among specific societal entities. Through this reimagined participatory approach, the aim is to empower children and adolescents to take the lead in shaping their urban environments. By amplifying their voices and perspectives, the resulting space design becomes more inclusive, responsive, and reflective of the genuine needs of the youth. Ultimately, this research seeks to foster a more equitable and participatory urban planning process, one that truly embraces the diversity and richness of urban life.
