本研究目的為探討不分系學程大學生的生涯抉擇與自我認同,欲呈現不分系學生在該制度下,面對多元選擇時的生涯決定,及其求學歷程中的自我認同感。研究方法採取質性研究中的多重個案研究法,立意取樣邀請就讀該系一年以上,且未分流的學生參與半結構式的深度訪談,以期描繪學生就讀不分系時的生涯抉擇與自我認同之統合歷程。
透過資料分析歸納之研究發現如下:(1)資訊作為生涯抉擇的賦權,並有多重來源,及內、外在之分,充足的外在資訊能幫助受訪者分析選擇的利弊,而清晰的內在資料能幫助受訪者判斷選擇與自身的合適度。(2)自我認同是一連續性的過程,需將過去、現在的經驗和未來的抱負連結,並在價值上有所定向,其價值定向與自己所關心的面向,及領域中的契合度有關。
The purpose of this research is to explore the career choices and self-identity of open major among undergraduate students. In order to describe the integration process of students' career choices and self-identity when they are studying open major, the researcher adopts the methodology of multiple cases study in qualitative research, and uses purposive sampling to invite students who have been studying in the department for more than one year, and have not been diverted to specific major in semi-structured in-depth interviews. The research finds that information is the empowerment of career choices. Sufficient external information can help interviewees analyze the pros and cons of choice, and clear internal information can help interviewees even more. With the practice of choice, self-identity also develops as a continuous process. It is necessary to connect past and present experiences with future ambitions, and be oriented by students’ value. The value orientation is related to the aspect of their concern and the degree of fit in the field.
